.more about husband and me.

.bittersweet goodbye.

.i spoke to husband
today when
i was getting
off work
and
he was just
starting work.

.i could hear the
sadness in
his voice
after he had just arrived
and
it had finally hit
that today is
his last day
working at the pharmacy.

.it made me think
back as to how
he had landed
this job to begin with.

.it's a hilarious story.

.and it's kinda here.
.when we weren't
so into blogging.
.it's kind of fun
to see our blog
back then.

.it's crazy to think
that so much time has past.
.that was in 2008.

.the pharmacy job
and experience
 has opened countless
doors for husband.

.i'm almost positive
he thinks
it is the only reason
he got into pharmacy school.

.i know better.

.but i also know that
it offered him more
than we could have
ever expected or
even realize now.

.we have also made
great friends.
.some we even
consider family.

.so while i know
husband is more than excited
to take this next step
he's going
to miss the pharmacy.

.next to family,
i think it's safe to say,
he's going to miss
it the most.

.when we were hanging up,
before i love you,
i told him he
"should be happy
he married such
a carefree, unfortunate,
wife --
who was so kind
to think of his future
and purposefully
forget her medicine
and all her other belongings
to be stolen
so he could return to the
pharmacy and land such
a sweet gig".

.here's to you husband.

.may this last day be
bittersweet, long enough, memorable,
and painfree.

.me loves you.
